During the past week I have completed the Sanrio Bracelet I was working on. I am very pleased with the results. This bracelet consisted of a few firsts for me which all turned out fantastically!! I can custom make one like this for you (choice of background color)...cost is $120. If you want a smaller bracelet or just one character....the starting price is $20.

Sanrio Bracelet in Square Stitch

Posted on August 18, 2010 at 12:30 PM Comments comments (0)

On August 18th, 2010 I decided to try a new beading stitch called square stitch. I like it much better than using a loom because you don't have to deal with all those warp threads. It takes more time because you stitch one bead at a time but ,it is so worth the effort. My first project is a Sanrio characters bracelet for myself.

This is available as a custom order ($30 and up) depending on length and choice of character(s). I can make this with a different background color...black would be fine but, white wont work because Hello Kitty's face is white.

St. Petersburg Stitch

Posted on August 9, 2010 at 12:30 PM Comments comments (0)

On August 9th 2010 I decided to try a new bead stitch called St. Petersburg. This is an intricate beadweaving technique that has many possibilities depending on the beads used and how many rows you connect. Below are two bracelets I made using this technique. This first is made with 11/0 seed beads only. The second is made with 11/0 seed beads and raw amber rounds approx 4mm.

This is available as a custom order ($20 and up) depending on length and beads used.
